Open year round one can enjoy the four distinct seasons; beautiful hot summer months, colorful falls, snow covered winter months and refreshing colourful springs.

Located in the scenic Fraser Canyon of British Columbia North Bend is nestled on the dry side of B.C.'s Coastal Mountain Range and is the gateway to the Nahatlatch and the Stein Valley Provincial Parks. The area is becoming a popular holiday destination having local attractions and some of B.C.'s best recreational back country.

About 2 1/2 hours from Vancouver Canyon Ranchlands is a small family owned and operated ranch. Over the last twenty years we've taken trips into B.C.'s back country on horses. We believe anyone can ride. During your stay enjoy historical tranquil country accommodation, private dining, interruptive horseback riding and/or hiking tours. Our horses all love attention and are generally attentive to riders. Being gentle upon hearing the voices of youngsters, laid back for those not so sure about being in a saddle and ready to go with the tap of an experienced rider. Remember like us the younger the horse the more energetic.

Once winter sets in we ride in our area depending upon the weather conditions (no riding on ice). Riding through the trails with a blanket of snow covering everything can be a breathtaking experience.

The Creek Ride takes about an hour, through the woods, into a field, back along the creek and up to the North Bend water fall. The River Ride takes us through the woods, open fields, down to the Fraser River, then back through the forest, along the rolling river side, back up to the fields, along the creek and if time permits up to the North Bend water fall. Don't be surprised if you see wild life along any of the trails. Jim and/or Vicky guide all rides at no extra cost and all the trails can be hiked.

For addition activity during the summer months one can enjoy Swimming a block away at the local out door Public Pool, Visit the Hell's Gate Airtram where you will find large historical photos of the Fraser Canyon, a Fudge Factory, and much more. Go Rafting on the world renown Nahatlatch River with one of three rafting companies. Enjoy Blue Lake or Nahatlatch Lakes
